Defensive duo sign for Diamonds

Rushden and Diamonds have signed defensive pairing Sagi Burton and Gareth Jelleyman on deals that run until the end of the forthcoming season. Double fixture change

Following a request by Wrexham, Rushden will now play the Dragons on Sunday August 17th at Nene Park because Wrexham are due to play York City live on TV the Thursday before. Also, the scheduled away fixture at Lewes for Saturday Semptember 13th has been moved to Thursday September 11th with a 7:45 pm kick-off. [...]

Keeper Marriott joins Diamonds

Manager Garry Hill has signed experienced goalkeeper Alan Marriott from Lincoln City as he looks to put the finishing touches to his squad. Marriott, who spent 9 seasons with the Imps, has signed a two year deal to become the Diamonds No 1 for the forthcoming season.
